Children's Lives at Risk in Tanzania's Gold Mines

04:58
(Dar Es Salaam, August 28, 2013) -- Children as young as eight-years-old are working in Tanzanian small-scale gold mines, with grave risks to their health and even their lives. The Tanzanian government should curb child labor in small-scale mining, including at informal, unlicensed mines, and the World Bank and donor countries should support these efforts. http://www.hrw.org/news/2013/08/28/tanzania-hazardous-life-child-gold-miners

Photosynthesis | #aumsum #kids #education #science #photosynthesis

05:53
Photosynthesis. Do you know how plants make their own food? Plants prepare their own food by a process called photosynthesis. Photo is the Greek word for light and synthesis is the Greek word for putting together. Plants need sunlight, carbon dioxide from air and water from soil to prepare their own food. Photosynthesis takes place in the leaves of a plant. Leaves have tiny pores called stomata through which carbon dioxide enters the plant. Plant cells contains tiny structures called chloroplasts that contain chlorophyll. Carbon dioxide and water, in the presence of sunlight and chlorophyll get converted into glucose and oxygen. Oxygen then leaves the plant through the stomata. Glucose gives nourishment to the plant. The extra glucose produced is stored by the plant in the form of starch for later use. Photosynthesis is the process by which plants prepare their own food using carbon dioxide and water in the presence of sunlight.

Transport of Water and Salts in Plants - Science

03:52
Transport of Water and Salts in Plants The cells present in the soil dissolve in the water resulting in a salt solution when the soil is watered. The amount of water provided to the soil is quite large; the solution will be dilute salt solution. Roots of plants have some hair like structures called Root hairs originating from cells of single layer epidermis. Dissolved salts are present in the cytoplasm of these cells, also called as CellSap. Cell sap is much concentrated than the salt solution present in the soil. Cell sap is also a salt solution. However it is much concentrated than the salt solution present in the soil. Cell membrane of the root hair is a semi permeable membrane and it separates the cell sap which is the concentrated salt solution from the salt solution in the soil which is the dilute salt solution. Water flows along with solutes from the soil into the cell sap in the root hairs. Thus roots absorb water and salts from the process of osmosis. The absorbed water and the salts move to the next cell once again by Osmosis. The movement of the water from roots to the parts of the plant above the ground is called ASCENT OF SAP. Water is transported from the roots to the leaves through Xylem vessels. Water and salts from the root hairs pass into the epidermal cells then to the cortical cells then to Endodermis cells and finally into Xylem. The transport of water from roots to the leaves is aided by the physical and chemical properties of water and the composition of the walls of the Xylem vessels. These vessels are made of lignin and cellulose which have strong, attraction for water molecules. A thin continuous layer of water Is formed in the walls of xylem vessels. This is because of strong attraction (or) adhesive force between water molecules. Between water molecules there is a strong attraction (or) cohesive force due to formation of hydrogen bond between water molecules. Because of this thousands and thousands of water molecules attach to the water molecules present on the walls. Thus forming a continues column of water molecules. The water molecules already present in the water column either get displaced or moved by the newly entering water molecules, ultimately pushing water towards the leaves. Root Pressure is the pressure exerted by the water molecules absorbed by the root hairs.

How Copper is Mined and Refined: "A Story Of Copper" 1951 US Bureau of Mines

33:35
Support this channel: https://www.patreon.com/jeffquitney more at http://scitech.quickfound.net/geology_news_and_links.html "Tells the story of the mining and manufacture of copper from the crude ore to the finished product. lots of footage of giant machines, some blasting." Originally a public domain film, slightly cropped to remove uneven edges, with the aspect ratio corrected, and mild video noise reduction applied. The soundtrack was also processed with volume normalization, noise reduction, clipping reduction, and/or equalization (the resulting sound, though not perfect, is far less noisy than the original). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Copper_extraction_techniques Wikipedia license: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ Copper extraction techniques refers to the methods for obtaining copper from its ores. The conversion of copper consists of a series of chemical, physical, and electrochemical processes. Methods have evolved and vary with country depending on the ore source, local environmental regulations, and other factors. As in all mining operations, the ore must usually be beneficiated (concentrated). To do this, the ore is crushed. Then it must be roasted to convert sulfides to oxides, which are smelted to produce matte. Finally, it undergoes various refining processes, the final one being electrolysis. For economic and environmental reasons, many of the byproducts of extraction are reclaimed. Sulfur dioxide gas, for example, is captured and turned into sulfuric acid — which is then used in the extraction process... History The earliest evidence of cold-hammering of native copper comes from the excavation at Çaÿonü Tepesi in eastern Anatolia. The radiocarbon date is 7250 ± 250 BCE. Among the various items considered to be votive or amulets there was one that looked like a fishhook and one like an awl. An archaeological site in southeastern Europe (Serbia) contains the oldest securely dated evidence of copper making at high temperature, from 7,000 years ago. The find in June 2010 extends the known record of copper smelting by about 500 years, and suggests that copper smelting may have been invented in separate parts of Asia and Europe at that time rather than spreading from a single source. Copper smelting technology gave rise to the Copper Age and then the Bronze Age. Concentration Most copper ores contain only a small percentage of copper metal bound up within valuable ore minerals, with the remainder of the ore being unwanted rock or gangue minerals, typically silicate minerals or oxide minerals for which there is often no value. The average grade of copper ores in the 21st century is below 0.6% copper, with a proportion of economic ore minerals (including copper) being less than 2% of the total volume of the ore rock. A key objective in the metallurgical treatment of any ore is the separation of ore minerals from gangue minerals within the rock. The first stage of any process within a metallurgical treatment circuit is accurate grinding or comminution, where the rock is crushed to produce small particles... Subsequent steps depend on the nature of the ore containing the copper. For oxide ores, a hydrometallurgical liberation process is normally undertaken, which uses the soluble nature of the ore minerals to the advantage of the metallurgical treatment plant. For sulfide ores, both secondary (supergene) and primary (hypogene), froth flotation is used to physically separate ore from gangue. For special native copper bearing ore bodies or sections of ore bodies rich in supergene native copper, this mineral can be recovered by a simple gravity circuit... Until the latter half of the 20th century, smelting sulfide ores was almost the sole means of producing copper metal from mined ores (primary copper production)... The copper is refined by electrolysis. The anodes cast from processed blister copper are placed into an aqueous solution of 3–4% copper sulfate and 10–16% sulfuric acid. Cathodes are thin rolled sheets of highly pure copper or, more commonly these days, reusable stainless steel starting sheets (as in the IsaKidd process). A potential of only 0.2–0.4 volts is required for the process to commence. At the anode, copper and less noble metals dissolve. More noble metals such as silver, gold, selenium, and tellurium settle to the bottom of the cell as anode slime, which forms a salable byproduct. Copper(II) ions migrate through the electrolyte to the cathode. At the cathode, copper metal plates out, but less noble constituents such as arsenic and zinc remain in solution unless a higher voltage is used. The reactions are: At the anode: Cu(s) → Cu2+(aq) + 2e− At the cathode: Cu2+(aq) + 2e− → Cu(s)...

The Ugly Face of Beauty: Is Child Labour the Foundation for your Makeup?

24:17
Mica is a naturally occurring mineral that is widely used in makeup for its shimmery quality. It makes eyeshadow dazzle and gives foundations a sought-after natural glow. You would be hard-pressed to find a brand of cosmetics that doesn’t use it today. However, its procurement is often illegal, involves child labour and is associated with health and safety risks. More films about India: https://rtd.rt.com/tags/child-labour/ This is the situation in India, where 60% of the world’s mica is produced. The impoverished population of Jharkhand State mine for mica despite it being banned. This is destroying the state’s nature reserve, but the world’s growing interest in mica-based cosmetics means production continues. For many locals it’s their only source of income. Even though there are serious occupational health hazards linked to mica production, whole families work in the industry, including very young children. Not a month goes by without somebody dying in the mines. Child slave labour is shockingly common here. Forced to work and deprived of education, these kids are left with only one option – to remain stuck forever in this dangerous and underpaid job. While many big cosmetic companies refuse to buy mica directly from illegal mines, they don’t question where the processing plants they shop at get their supplies from. Meanwhile, the vast majority of the mines in Jharkhand are illegal. RT Doc travels to Jharkhand to discover the unsightly side of mica’s glitter. YouTube GOLD - Eps. 14 GOLDEN EYE: MINI GOLD MINING | RC ADVENTURES

28:03
We have been mining for several months -- and the pay streak we were following has almost run dry. We are no where near our season goal. The only thing I can do is prospect for new ground to mine. The current mine is still producing gold, but we need to find a new pay streak. After I do some prospecting, I have Krazy Joe run the Dozer - and we move one of the wash plants. The new conveyor belts have arrived - and its time to have the entire plant work as one lean, mean, Gold-producing Machine! Are we going to find Gold?! Of Course! The true secret of this show - is nothing you see is "real". Everything is generally staged (well as much as we can plan when playing!), and though we are mining for real gold (yes it's real pay dirt), the true Gold is the experience we get as friends, what we hope the viewers get watching a couple of goofballs entertain you with some very cool toys. One mans hobby, is another's entertainment on YouTube! Now all I have to do is to continue learning how to sluice for Gold. We are all rookies, we have never mined before.. yet, I have always had a passion for Radio Control, and for finding Gold! "YouTube GOLD" is a #Parody series based around the GOLD Shows of TV that we all know and love. #GoldRush #YukonGold #BeringSeaGold all of these are shows that my family enjoy seeing! A lot of viewers ask me questions about the products I use in my videos, and I have learned to pass along this info in my video descriptions. I hope it helps if you are curious about my HD Equipment. I ordered all of my Heavy Duty Construction equipment distributed by a company called "RC4WD". Here is a link: https://store.rc4wd.com/Heavy-Machinery_c_154.html I am using the older style of excavator, the 870K wheel loader, the DXR2 Dozer, and the 797F Haul Truck. These machines are very impressive.. and VERY HEAVY! All metal, all around... True hydraulic systems that have ample power for your Radio control modelling needs. I have always known that making a GOLD MINE would be possible with RC models.. and finally I get to realize this dream - even if the scale is all 1/14th in size! Nuclear technology is constantly in the news. So how exactly do you make nuclear fuel? Special thanks to Life Noggin for animating this video! Check them out: http://www.youtube.com/lifenoggin Read More: Fuel Cycle Facilities http://www.nrc.gov/materials/fuel-cycle-fac.html “The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) regulates uranium recovery facilities that mill uranium; fuel cycle facilities that convert, enrich, and fabricate it into fuel for use in nuclear reactors, and deconversion facilities that process the depleted uranium hexafluoride for disposal.” Uranium processing http://www.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/619232/uranium-processing “Uranium (U), although very dense (19.1 grams per cubic centimetre), is a relatively weak, nonrefractory metal. Indeed, the metallic properties of uranium appear to be intermediate between those of silver and other true metals and those of the nonmetallic elements, so that it is not valued for structural applications.” About Nuclear Fuel Cycle https://infcis.iaea.org/NFCIS/About.cshtml “Nuclear Fuel Cycle can be defined as the set of processes to make use of nuclear materials and to return it to normal state. It starts with the mining of unused nuclear materials from the nature and ends with the safe disposal of used nuclear material in the nature.” Nuclear Fuel Processes http://www.nei.org/Knowledge-Center/Nuclear-Fuel-Processes “Nuclear power plants do not burn any fuel. Instead, they use uranium fuel, consisting of solid ceramic pellets, to produce electricity through a process called fission.” ____________________ DNews is dedicated to satisfying your curiosity and to bringing you mind-bending stories & perspectives you won't find anywhere else! Here is a Link to the bucket I purchased: http://goo.gl/FG8jG7 The minerals you see me pulling is Pyrite. The mineral pyrite, or iron pyrite, also known as fool's gold, is an iron sulfide with the formula FeS2. This mineral's metallic luster and pale brass-yellow hue give it a superficial resemblance to gold, hence the well-known nickname of fool's gold. The color has also led to the nicknames brass, brazzle, and Brazil, primarily used to refer to pyrite found in coal The excavator is doing really well. I am always very pleased at the power it has. Believe me.. it is not easy to operate - but with much practice, one can become quite controlled. I purchased my excavator at http://store.rc4wd.com I know people always ask details.. so here you go! Click Here To Subscribe! ► http://bit.ly/JOovvU - The RCSparks Studio Trucking company had a few days off, so we put an excavator to work at with our sluice plant. A Simple 12v water pump feeds water to the sluice box. I would like a more powerful pump - so I'm looking at upgrading. I purchased a boat bilge pump to try next. 800GPH! it should be a good pump that is easy to use, and high flow. The military are there simply to protect the entire operation. It can be crazy near these bridges - you never know who's gunna roll up on you. GOLD will make men crazy.. Despite Swaziland's small size, it boasts more hectares of land dedicated to growing Cannabis than all of India. It is also home to Swazi Gold, the legendary sativa strain. Hamilton Morris travels to Swaziland hoping to chemically analyze the cannabinoids present in some of the local strains. Instead, he finds a country steeped in political corruption and economic turmoil. Cannabis is viewed by many growers, users, and politicians as a drug that will cause insanity, but it may be Swaziland's only hope for economic stability. RC ADVENTURES - GOLD Mine Trommel & 4200XL Excavator, Radio Controlled

05:25
Click Here To Subscribe! ► http://bit.ly/JOovvU - I was looking to build a trommel since before I did the GOLD sluicing video. What is a Trommel? Well - its a rotating drum that is its basic form is a filtering system. For example, excavation contractors may screen their site debris into two fractions; a saleable topsoil for farms, nurseries and site-work, as well as cleaned rock for aggregates or landscaping work. This allows the contractor to resell their waste, instead of incurring the cost of sending it for disposal. The same principle applies to the production of compost, sand/gravel, lumber mill by-products and municipal waste. Trommels are also used in the recovery of gold from mineral rich soils. The dirt is broken up by high pressure water jets before entering the trommel, which breaks up the dirt further and outputs the rocks and stones while depositing the gold fragments in special plastic mats. Partnering up with long time RC Adventures viewer, Mike, aka "MAV",(https://www.youtube.com/MadAddVent) we have come up with something incredible. This project has been secretly being created for several months, and is the brainchild of MAV from the beginning. and now we are able to mine and filter Good Pay Dirt, from the Debris! Your Ears Can Indicate Your Health: Don't Ignore These 8 Factors

10:10
It is a normal hygienic procedure to clean our ears once every few days. However, not all of us know that ear wax can also indicate the state of our health. With the help of a Q-tip, you can check the color of your ear wax and understand what it means. TIMESTAMPS What do we know about the human ear? 0:35 Ear wax of a gray color 1:28 Ear wax with traces of blood 2:09 Ear wax of a brown color 3:02 Ear wax of a black color 3:40 Ear wax of a white color 4:25 Ear wax with an unpleasant smell 5:14 Liquid ear wax 6:03 Dry earwax 6:36 See a doctor if you have the following symptoms 7:06 What you shouldn't do to avoid any problems 8:14 Three most interesting facts about your ears 8:47 SUMMARY Ear wax is not a body waste to get rid of regularly, quite the contrary - it's a kind of protection. It keeps the ear canal lubricated, therefore, prevents the ears from itching. Moreover, it prevents different pollutants from entering the inner ear. Even more surprisingly, this substance has antibacterial properties. Our body is a clever mechanism. Did you know that when we chew, the movement pushes ear wax to the outer part of the ear? This way, your ears self-clean! If your ears tend to produce a big amount of ear wax creating a build-up, you can take some preventive measures yourself. - It's effective to use agents softening the wax. They can be mineral or baby oil, or ear drops. It is enough to put a few drops of these substances into your ear once a week to soften the ear wax and help it to come out faster and with ease. - Another way to take care of your ears is to buy a special at-home kit for their irrigation. Primitive Technology: Forge Blower

04:32
I invented the Bow Blower, a combination of the bow drill and forge blower to make a device that can force air into a fire while being easy to construct from commonly occurring natural materials using only primitive technology. I began by fanning a fire with a piece of bark to increase its temperature. It is this basic principle I improved on throughout the project. Next, I made a rotary fan from two pieces of bark that slot together at right angles to each other to form a simple 4 bladed paddle wheel about 20 cm in diameter and 5 cm tall. The blades of the fan were not angled and were designed only to throw air outwards away from the axle when spun. The rotor of the fan was made by splitting a stick two ways so it formed 4 prongs. The fan was then inserted into the prongs and the end lashed to hold it in place. Spinning the fan rotor back and forth between the palms of the hands fanned the fire. But only some of the wind generated by the fan reached the fire. The rest of it was blowing in other directions, effectively being wasted. So I built a fan housing from unfired clay to direct the air flow into the fire. This was basically an upturned pot with a hole in the top, a spout coming out of the side. The housing was about 25 cm wide and 8 cm tall. The hole in the top and the spout were both about 6 cm in diameter so that the air coming in roughly equalled the air coming out. The base of the fan rotor sat in a wooden socket placed in the ground to make it spin easier and the top of the rotor protruded from the hole in the top of the housing. Now when the fan spun, air entered the hole in the top of the housing and exited the spout in the side. Importantly, it doesn’t matter which way the fan spins, air always goes into the inlet and out the spout. Air is thrown out towards the walls of the housing and can only leave through the spout while the vacuum in the centre sucks new air into the housing through the inlet. A separate clay pipe called a tuyere was made to fit over the spout to direct air into the coals. This was done because the pipe that touches the fire can melt away so it’s better to make this part replaceable. Instead of making a large wheel and belt assembly to step up the speed of rotation, I opted for a 75 cm long bow. I made a frame to hold the rotor in place consisting of two stakes hammered into the ground with a socketed cross bar lashed on to hold the top of the rotor. I made bark fibre cordage and tied the end to a stick. I then looped the cord around the rotor and held the other end in the same hand holding the stick. I then pushed and pulled the bow causing the rotor to spin rapidly, forcing air into the fire. I made a simple mud furnace for the blower. Then I collected orange iron bacteria from the creek (iron oxide), mixed it with charcoal powder (carbon to reduce oxide to metal) and wood ash (flux to lower the melting point) and formed it into a cylindrical brick. I filled the furnace with charcoal, put the ore brick in and commenced firing. The ore brick melted and produced slag with tiny, 1mm sized specs of iron through it. My intent was not so much to make iron but to show that the furnace can reach a fairly high temperature using this blower. A taller furnace called a bloomery was generally used in ancient times to produce usable quantities of iron and consumed more charcoal, ore and labour. This device produces a blast of air with each stroke of the bow regardless of whether it is pushed or pulled. The bow makes it possible to operate the blower without using a complicated belt and wheel assembly used in traditional forge blowers. There is a brief pause at the end of each stroke where the fan stops to rotate in the other direction, but this is effectively no different to the intermittent blast of a double acting bellows of Europe or box bellows of Asia. The materials used (wood, bark, bark fibre and clay) are readily available on most continents. No leather, valves or precisely fitted piston gaskets are required as with other types of bellows. The cords for this device wear out often so a number of back up cords should be kept handy for quick replacement. In summary, this is an easy to make device that solves the problem of supplying forced combustion air required for high temperature furnaces and forges. Fracking explained: opportunity or danger

05:04
Fracking explained in five minutes. Fracking is a controversial topic. On the one side the gas drilling companies, on the other citizen opposed to this drilling method. Politicians are also divided on the matter. We try to take a neutral look on fracking. It is relevant for all of us, because of high prices for energy and the danger for our drinking water. This video focuses mostly on the debate currently ongoing in europe. In a lot of european countries there is a public outcry against fracking, espacially in germany. But the facts in this video are relevant to all of us. Short videos, explaining things. For example Evolution, the Universe, Stock Market or controversial topics like Fracking. How we treat coal mine water

00:28
When a coal mine is closed the water level within the mine recovers over time and picks up naturally occurring minerals from the rocks, such as iron. This can coat river beds, stopping plant growth, causing wildlife to move on as they no longer have food. We treat coal mine water to prevent this from happening.

Getting children out of mines in Burkina Faso | UNICEF

01:25
According to a 2010 study conducted by UNICEF and the Government of Burkina Faso, almost 20,000 children were found to be working in the artisanal gold sites surveyed. However, as data on child labor is hard to obtain, it is likely that the number is significantly higher than 100,000. Many of these children work in mines because they must help support themselves and their families. A UNICEF-supported project is helping them to get out of the mines by teaching them new vocational skills. For more about UNICEF's efforts to get children out of the gold mines in Burkina Faso, visit: http://www.unicef.org/infobycountry/b.... Let's Blast!

05:00
NOTE: Although this video shows an up-close look at the blasting process, NEVER go near an active surface mine or blast site without Federal training and permission. FYI, the white bags are Emulsified Ammonium Nitrate. The read cap is TNT and the silver rod that is connected to it by the yellow wire is the blasting cap, it's what ignites the shot. The white pebbles that are emptied into the blast holes by the powder trucks are the main explosive- "ANFO" or Ammonium Nitrate, which is a mixture of fertilizer and diesel fuel. Once the holes are filled with explosives, rock fines or "stemming" is pushed back in the holes and packed down to keep the explosives under pressure. After all the holes are loaded and rigged up, it's time for the fireworks! And remember kids, don't try this at home! Want to see more Blasting? 1958 NAVAJO INDIANS DOCUMENTARY "BETWEEN TWO WORLDS" NATIVE AMERICANS 85284

22:27
This 1958 color film shows the Navajo Nation of the 1960s, with a postscript from the 1970s (:13). It’s “A Line on America” film presentation of “A People Between Two Worlds” (:50), produced by Francis and Helen Line. This largest Indian tribe lives on a reservation mostly in Arizona into New Mexico, Utah, and Colorado (1:18). Sheep provides resources and an income (1:50-2:08). Most of the 15 million acres are too barren, mountainous, or heavily forested (2:10-2:34). Only 4 acres in 1,000 have enough moisture for crops (2:41). Life revolves around the hogan home and ancient customs (2:48-3:42). Trading posts provide a place to barter (3:43-4:00), including pawning turquoise jewelry, worn regardless of the task (4:01-4:22). A baby is shown on a cradleboard (4:25-4:34). In spring, wind creates sandstorms (5:14-5:30). In summer, flash flooding destroys roads and bridges (5:32-5:49). The roads are hard on buckboard wheels (6:11). A woman weaves a colorful patterned rug (6:36-7:04). New resources include oil pumps, natural gas wells, and uranium mines. Processing plants built at the edge of the reservation provide jobs and royalty payments (7:05-8:15). Students attend school (8:20-8:30). Report cards are often signed by a parent’s thumbprint (8:30-8:40). In response, the US government built elementary (up to 6th grade) boarding schools where children live for 9 months, such as at Shiprock (8:43-9:40). The government also built experimental trailer schools on the reservation with non-Navajo teachers (9:50-11:20). A bathroom trailer provides new experiences of running water, flush toilets, and toothbrushes (11:31-11:50). Before class, a breakfast of cold cow’s milk and biscuits is served (11:53-12:22); a happy lamb is bottle-fed (12:26-12:37); and the Pledge of Allegiance is given (12:40-12:52). The school teaches about the US government; health; prayer before a lunch that uses knives and forks; and gives out vitamins (12:53-13:35). They learn to read, speak, and sing English (13:36-13:54). A member of the Navajo Tribal Council visits the school, driving what may be a 1955 GMC Suburban carrier pickup truck (13:57-14:07). He talks to the classroom in Navajo, explaining the coming changes (14:09-14:20). An old Navajo woman is shown (14:45). The Postscript and Forecast (16:52) shows power lines across the desert providing electricity (16:59-17:12). Other changes include coin-operated laundries (17:20), shopping center supermarkets (17:27), a 1974 Navajo newspaper (17:33), water towers (17:39), and factories (17:44). The film predicts a population of 200,000 Navajos by the 1980s (341,128 at the 2015 census). The traditional hogan house stands in contrast to modern frame structures in housing communities (18:1-18:42). Roads are being paved and interstate highways built (18:51-19:00). The Glen Canyon Dam on the Colorado River provides new water resources via Lake Powell (19:23). Rainbow Natural Bridge and others (19:33-1944) provide tourist income. The Great Seal of the Navajo Tribe represents its new tribal government, often called the Navajo Nation (19:47-20:00). Strip mining for coal and power plant pollution bring issues (20:15-20:45). Public schools have been built, including the Rough Rock Demonstration School and a community college, both run by the Navajo (20:48-21:39). Cursed by Coal: Mining the Navajo Nation

13:41
There's a resource curse on the Navajo Nation. The 27,000-square-mile reservation straddling parts of Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah has an extremely high abundance of many energy resources — particularly coal. That coal is what's burned to provide much of the Southwest with electricity, and it creates jobs for the Navajo. But the mining and burning have also caused environmental degradation, serious health issues, and displacement. VICE News travels to the Navajo Nation to find out how its abundance of coal is affecting the future of the Navajo people.
